Most valued thing to be consider before buying diamond is the diamond's shape. Amoung all the shapes ,the most liked one is the round brilliant cut. If, you had a different choice you can go for another shape. It is not a good idea to be select between multiple shapes at the same time since the styles, pricing and consideration all vary so much. The diamond's shape will really set the standard for the style and look. Some rings are only compatible with certain shapes so we advise you to look that first.

Cut: Of all the four Cs, the cut is essential . It decides how much a diamond sparkles. A defective cut diamond will be dull and glow little when compared to a well-cut stone. Particularly cuts like marquise or princess can make a diamond look huge than it actually is.

Colour: The second C, colour, is described in terms of grades D to Z. Diamonds that graded D (Colourless) is the expensive of all the grades. The price of the diamond reduces when the grade moves from D to Z.

Clarity: Following the colour, Clarity comes next. Diamond has some imperfections in it. These imperfections are called inclusions. Higher the inclusions , lower the clarity will be. When the diamond has high clarity, the finer the diamond will be. Diamonds with the highest clarity are called flawless (FL) diamonds.

Carat: Last priority goes to carat. Carat is the phrase, which decides the diamond’s weight. When the stone is larger, higher the carat of a diamond .The price of the stone also increases as the carat value increases. If two stones has same carat value, it may differ in price depending on the other three Cs.

Be aware of Certifications

Diamond certification is a process set up by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to assess the quality of a diamond depend on the 4Cs—carat, colour, clarity, and cut. Diamond certification point out the diamond grading and it is highly advised to buy only certified diamonds.

Diamond is a precious stone , when picking a Diamond , Always go for certified sellers. In most cases, it is advisable to look for brands, as they are certified and provide you with certificate and purity tags as well. When it comes to online platforms, go for certified brands and never compromise for a matter of a few pennies.
